Since the 1st March 2018, yacht manufactures Najad AB and Arcona AB have been owned by Orust Quality
Yachts AB. Their activities are conducted as separated companies, trademarks and brands and will continue to evolve independently.
Orust Quality Yachts AB intends to create successful and efficient organizations to continue to build quality
yachts within both Najad’s and Arcona Yachts’ segments.
Najad premiered its new 395 AC at Boot Dusseldorf International Boat Show, and will show the new 395 CC at a Swedish boat show in August. Arcona is currently building its brand new Arcona 435, which will be first shown at the Swedish boat show in August and then have its international premier at the UK International Southampton Boat Show in September.
The board has been able to fully review the activities of both brands and evaluate the potential for the future. They have concluded that Arcona has been very successful in conducting a business model which involves the high-quality production of premium brand yachts in close co-operation with a selected number of trusted subcontractors. Najad has now called for a negotiation with the union for its staff in Henån, Orust.
